Miss Hatter

Hi there everyone! you may have realised i'm on a bit of a wonderland kick right now!
so what better to add to the collection but the wonderful 'Miss Hatter' from Rick's Zibbet store?

I coloured her using copics, and hand stamped the background, before adding colour with Brushos...
I then hand doodled on top of that, and hand wrote and cut the sentiment, which I then inked with seedless preserves distress inks

I hope you like her!

Stand On Your Head!

Donna here with today's inspiration.  Saw this quote on some tee shirts and mugs on Cafe Press and it immediately made me think of the totally mad Cheshire cat image Stand on Your Head, available  HERE in Rick's Zibbet shop.  Yes, I'm a crazy cat lady and I totally adore crazy cats, don't you?  I'd made the background with stencils and sprays eons ago but never quite found the right project, until today.

I colored Chessie to match the background with Copics and couldn't resist adding some google eyes. I tried to fussy cut all the the little hairs sticking out to further add to the crazy mad vibe.  And the surprise?

He's mounted on an action wobble.  Look at him go!  That catnip is some powerful stuff.  There's loads of crazy cats as well as many other Alice in Wonderland images available on both Rick's Zibbet and Etsy shops.  And don't forget today is the LAST day to enjoy Memorial Day Savings.  Still time to stock up!

Angry Annie

Hello!  It's Crafting Vicky with you today for those of you that know me or follow my blog you know that I've been having some health issues.  I'm suffering from depression (yeah I know it's not something that one is supposed to say but I'm past the point of trying to hide this).

One of the things that has really helped me on the road to recovery (hoping the destination is close now) is journaling.  And what I have to share with you is one of those journal pages.  I had this feeling that there's this little girl in my head and that she really wants to come out!!!

When looking through the images over at the zibbet site I found exactly the little girl that was in there... no kidding I'm having issues it's Angry Annie.  Yeah.... pretty scary...

and here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics.
It felt good to let her out.... and I'm trying to keep her from coming back to my head... wish me luck!

I hope you have liked my little inspiration for you and you will use digis in your journaling!  They are super fun.

Have a fab day.

I made a tag in the shape of a tomb, it has some "secret doors"in it, it's my entry for the Tag challenge at the Rick St. dennis FB group here

To make this tag I used the Tim Holz headstone die and carboard. All rubber stamps used are designed by Rick and now available as digi in the Zibbet shop. The Haunted house is still available in rubber at I Brake for Stamps

Deco Art products used: Metallic Lustre in Silver Spark, Traditions acrylic in Carbon BlackGlamour dust in neon orangeAmericana neons in orangeMedia Crackle paste.

The front closes with a ribbon, when you untie it it opens to this:

stamps are autumn window skulls and common grave skulls, both from the morte rubber set.

The skulls are stamped using white Stazon and the window is coloured using Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.

The window can be opened to this:
The skull is I've got an eye on you and the haunted house (rubberstamp) is for sale at I Brake for Stamps

The spiderweb is a die and in the back of the tomb the skulls are stamped inJet Black Archival over the neon orange and glitter orange paint.

the front and the back of the  headstone are covered in a layer of crackle paste to make the cardboard look like stone. The crackle is ages a bit using distress ink.

Here you can see the side of the headstone, it is made out of cardboard and I just layered the die custs and cut out the middle part.

Get Well Wishes!

Hi everyone! Heres a little darling by the name of Nurse Rozetta By RSD MFA sending you get well wishes! I made this card by starting with a black square card blank and then matted it in red. I then used a paper from Kaiser Crafts 13th hour collection. I coloured Nurse Rozetta with copic markers and then fussy cut her out and popped her up with double sided foam tape. I then added a bandaid sticker which I stamped my sentiment on, added some red sequins and some bakers twine to finish.
Here are the colours that I used:
W2,W3,W5,B60,B63,Y08,C2,C4,C5,R20,R22,R24,R29,E55,E57,E59,E000,E00,E01

The Enforcer in the Eyes of Lady B

Lady B here to share a piece that falls on the darker side of the crafting world.

Image: "SH Enforcer" by Rick St. Dennis MFA
Background: "Hotel Hell" By Crystal Rain
Digital Embellishments (skulls, knife, sickle): "Edgar Allan Poe" By Crystal Rain
Light Effects: PSE8

I first printed SH Enforcer onto Copic X-Press-it card then coloured him with Copic markers.  Next, I scanned the image to my pc, imported the image to PSE8 and removed the white background.  I then added the SH Enforcer into the eerie scene above.  He looked lonely in the empty room so I added a batch of skulls and two other random weapons he may enjoy using on his next victim(s).  Lastly, I added some lens glare light effects and added the sentiment "Fresh Heads Severed Daily".
Yep.  Severed, not served.

After Days with Fiona R.

Good Morning. I'm here today with a wall plaque created using Rick's After Days Digital Stamp
The image was coloured with copics. and then scanned into photoshop, printed out on my laser printer and then used as an image transfer on a mixed media background.

    Best friends forever.......

Just popping over to introduce myself. My name is Lynda and a new member of RSD EDT, so honored and thrilled to get to work with such amazing digi art.

The thing I find creepiest is zombie children, when all you can hear is them singing nursery rhymes, sends shiver down my spine. This is what inspired my project below.

I chose to play with Lizzywhigs

I used pro markers to color her. I wanted to giver her a 'out of the grave look' so added mud to her clothing.

On the finished project I added red dots to her eyes to make her look more creepy.

I created the background of the tag by using an embossing folder on black magic card and then sanding it down so you can see a hint of blue.

I finished it  off with the sentiment 'Best friends forever' not sure if that a threat or a promise... you decide.

    Hope you like it

Los Tres Demonios Welcome YOU (and Me!)

EEEK!  It's Donna Mundinger here and I've gotta say I'm thrilled to be a new member of the RSD EDT and doubly thrilled that my first official post is here on Airless Chambers.  A long time fan of ALL of Rick's images (but especially the DARK ONES) I've chosen Los Tres Demonios, available in Rick's Zibbet Shop and made a door hanger for my craft room (my own private hell due to the disastrous MESS it's always in. LOL).

Here's a closeup of the amazingly detailed image which I've colored with Copics and Prismacolor pencils.  It's triple matted and popped atop my fave flames pic from the net which I printed full page singed around the edges with my trusty lighter. Fortunately, I tried this before adding the image, as this was not my first attempt.  This is also my DT make for our new monthly challenge at Haunted Design House.  Find the deets about that challenge HERE.  It's a great place to play using Rick's fab dark images.

Please check out our May Progressive challenge on SNG which is ATG with an RSD image and check out the deets for Rick's special May Tag Challenge on our FB Group page.  Can't wait to see what you create!

    Creepy Cute with Lady B

Lady B here with some digital inspiration.  My printer has been on the fritz and my Copic markers are in desperate need of refilling and cleaning so I've been doing mostly digital work until I get the rest of my crafting gear in order.  Pictured below is one of my latest creations.  Click on image to enlarge.

I have used a digital stamp by Rick St. Dennis MFA named "Zombie Jive".  Zombie Jive can also be purchased here in Rick's Etsy Shop.  I coloured this image before my copics ran out of ink then scanned the Zombie to my pc and removed the white paper background in PSE8.  I then added Zombie Jive to this creepy cool scene I created using elements and digital design paper by Crystal Rain which I purchased from "Mischief Circus".

The room is one of the digital papers offered in Crystal Rain's "Abandoned PP".  All of the elements I've used (spider webs, skull and bones, black widow spider, black cat, bloody hand prints and blood splotches) came from Crystal Rain's "Edgar Allan Poe" digital kit which includes elements and papers.

    Now for some other news:
